About us

Behind the name El Condor is Kees van Rein. Since the early 70s, always listening to and passionate about music. There are memories of playing The Beatles on a Dad’s Teac 8-track reel-to-reel recorder. Inspired by this, the journey continued with bands from that era such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Allman Brothers, Grand Funk Railroad, and many others. That passion carried on into the 80s with Hard Rock, early Metal bands, Punk, and New Wave, each style with its own unique energy. Over time, the musical horizon expanded to include Classical, Renaissance, Baroque, and folk music. Long story short: this path led to becoming an Audio Engineer, graduating from the SAE (School of Audio Engineering) in Amsterdam in 1995.  Along the road of life, the career shifted to IT Manager, but the studio was always there to work with musicians and, more recently, to create original songs. I used the name El Condor as it was given to my in the early 90´s in the scenes I was getting my early 20´s life experiences.. :).. Oh yes I am also a passionate Biker...
